About Randolph Thompson

Randolph Thompson studied Jazz composition and arranging at Indiana University with the world renowned David Baker. He has written music for TV, film, commericals and special events. For 15 years Thompson was a headliner musical Comedian opening for Ray Charles and The Neville Brothers. He wrote and directed the cult favorite movie "Stages". Randy is also a well known TV guest-star having appeared in "24", "Grey's Anatomy""Criminal Minds", "Boston Legal", "Weeds", "Mad Men" and "CSI" among many others.

Randolph works with a group of extraordinary musicians performing his original Compositions/Arrangements.  It is comprised of all "organic" instruments (no electric/electronic or computers)  Euphony is committed to putting the "Musicality" back into today's music.  This unique sound consists of a largely Jazz and Blues foundation with classical and pop flavors. This dynamic musical style also incorporates "World Music" influences.

Matt Finders            Trombone        Matt is the Trombonist  for "The Tonight Show".  He has played with Branford 
                                                        Marsalis, Harry Connick Jr., Natalie Cole and many more.  Matt spent a number
                                                        of years performing with Broadway Orchestras in the shows "Cats", "Starlight

Ken Deans
                Drums/            Ken holds the distinction of being the first "Rock" drummer to perform at Radio
                                 Percussion      City Music Hall while touring with Heart in his band The Heats.  He was an integral
                                                        part of the Seattle music scene playing with Nirvana, Alice in Chains and Sound-
                                                        Garden at the very beginning of their formation.  

Greg Fried               Violin                With a P.H.D. in Music, Greg is a well-known teacher of strings. He has performed
                                                        with The Dave Brubeck Quartet, Aaron Copland and recently was first violinist of 
                                                        Schubert C Major Cello Quintet with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Victor Bisetti           Drums/              Victor is well known as one of the top percussionists in the country.  He has 
                                Percussion         Performed and recorded with Los Lobos for a number of years as well as a 
                                                          number of other artists including John Lee Hooker.

Denny Croy            String Bass          Denny's first taste of music was at 17, going to T-Bone Walker's house to jam.  
                                                          He has perfromed with an impressive list of people including, Moon Martin, Lou 
                                                          Christie, Micky Dolenz and Brian Setzer.  Denny has also performed on many 
                                                          Movie soundtracks.

Gary Rautenberg    Sax/Flute           Gary has been a featured soloist with the Syracuse Symphony, and has toured 
                                                          and/or performed with Sammy Davis Jr., Della Reese, Liza Minelli, Chita Rivera,
                                                          Petula Clark and Edie Adams as well as The Jimmy Dorsey Band.

Greg Pineda            Guitar                 Performing on Classical and Accoustic guitar, Greg is a multi-style accomplished 
                                                          Musician.  Greg started out with his band opening for and touring with  Dolly 
                                                          Parton.  He has worked with Ambrosia, Chicago, REO Speedwagon, Tower of 
                                                          Power and the Pointer Sisters.  He  now performs with The John Sokoloff Band.
                      
David Johnson          Vibes/               David is the coordinator of the CalArts Percussion Program.  He has performed  
                                Marimbas            with Yusef LaTeef, Mel Torme, Dave Brubeck and The L.A. Philharmonic among
                                                           many others. He also can be heard performing on the soundtracks for
                                                           "The Matrix" and "Spiderman 3".
